In this episode about one of the most formative years in music history, we look at the demise of the Disco Era and the new beats that took its place. Disco died in the chaotic craziness of "Disco Demolition Night" at Comiskey Park in Chicago, home of the Chicago White Sox and filled with people fed up with the hedonism of the disco era. But, out of the ashes of Disco came more memorable music with a dance beat from groups like Earth, Wind & Fire, The Commodores, Gino Vanelli, and storytellers like Kenny Rogers.
